I have many favourite places, some of them are far away: the Greek islands, Paris, Berlin to name three. But most of all, I love the mountains of the West: the Rockies, the Coast Range of B.C., the Cascades and Olympics of Washington.
I like being part of that never-ending process of turning ideas and inspirations into books that are written, edited, designed, and produced to be read by people who think. A great book, or even a “good book”—one that causes a reader to reconsider, to reflect, or perhaps learn something new—that's my kind of book.
