Q&A

favourite quotes
“Anyone who has the power to make you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustices.” Voltaire

“Practical men, who believe themselves to be quite exempt from any intellectual influences, are usually the slaves of some defunct economist.” John Maynard Keynes

favourite places?
I have many favourite places, some of them are far away: the Greek islands, Paris, Berlin to name three. But most of all, I love the mountains of the West: the Rockies, the Coast Range of B.C., the Cascades and Olympics of Washington.

about publishing?
I like being part of that never-ending process of turning ideas and inspirations into books that are written, edited, designed, and produced to be read by people who think. To say that a book is “a good read" isn't saying very much as far as I’m concerned. A great book, or even a “good book”—one that causes a reader to reconsider, to reflect, or perhaps learn something new—that's my kind of book.
